“ We went here today for tea and cake and it was like going back in time to the days of quaint tea shops with lovely home made caches and proper china. Such a lovely, friendly place with a great selection of teas and the cakes were absolutely fantastic. I had the toffee apple cake and Earl grey tea and my son and daughter in law shared some coffee and walnut cake with coffees. There was a small choice of food available as well and from that I saw the portions were huge. Well worth a visit and we will be returning. ”

“ If you're looking for some traditional afternoon tea and you're in Deal, I'd totally recommend this place. We entered and asked for the traditional afternoon tea, but was told that we would need to pre order as it was busy... But they were very accomodating and made us an afternoon tea with some of the regular sandwiches and cakes, so very much appreciated it. Staff were very friendly and the scones were quite possibly the best I've ever had! The only downside was that the seating area is quite small (apparently they have a garden as well, but didn't see that) and it could probably do with putting menu in the window as there was a lot of people popping in to find out what they were serving. ”
